You play both ways — the ▲/▼ arrow on the scoreboard says which half you're in.
Batting: time the swing as the ring closes.
Pitching: tap a pitch, aim, release on the ring.
Fielding is yours: move toward the ball, press CATCH/FIELD when you're close, then hold a base and let go to throw — a quick tap is safe, a held beat is fastest, holding too long is a risky cannon. SWITCH hands control to whichever nearby fielder actually has the play.
Three innings. Most runs when the CPU's last out is made wins.
